What is a Danganronpa wheel?
A Danganronpa wheel is a free random picker holding characters from the series. Spin it and it lands on one, which decides a drawing subject, a roleplay, or a role in a generated scenario. Filter by game or role before you spin.
Three pools get used separately. Students, who are the participants. Antagonists, who run the games. And the full cast, for when it does not matter.
Which pool you want depends entirely on what you are building.
How do you use the Danganronpa wheel?
Filter to the pool you need, then spin. The wheel lands on one character. Turn on remove after pick to cast a full scenario without anyone appearing twice, which is exactly what scenario generators need.
Three steps:
- Filter to students, antagonists, one game, or the full cast
- Spin and let it land
- Remove the result and spin again for the next role

How do you generate a scenario?
Filter to students, turn on remove after pick, then spin once per role you need to fill. Each character comes off the wheel as they are cast, so nobody ends up in two places and the result stays coherent.
The fan who did this described getting bored after finishing the games and spinning a wheel to make a new one. It is a good use of a picker.
The rule that makes it work is the exclusion. Characters who cannot fill a role should not be in the pool for it, which is why the students only filter exists rather than a note telling you to reroll.
Three things to set first:
- The pool, which for a killing game is students only
- The number of roles you are casting
- Whether characters from different games can mix, which is your call
Does the wheel cover all three games?
The wheel holds the characters on the visible list, and the game filters let you narrow to one cast or spin across all of them. Check the list before you spin so you know exactly which games are included.
Fans count the cast differently depending on whether spin off titles and minor appearances are in.
Rather than assert a number, the list is shown and editable. Anything missing takes seconds to add, and anything you do not want comes off just as fast.
Is the Danganronpa wheel random?
Yes. Every character left in the pool after your filters has the same chance on every spin. The result comes from your browser's own random number generator, and the animation just shows you where it landed.
Excluding hosts or filtering to one game changes who is eligible, not the odds between whoever remains.
