This policy explains what wheel-names.com does with data. The short version is that the names you type into a wheel never reach our servers, and the site does use cookies for advertising and analytics. Both halves of that are set out in full below.

The names and lists you enter
The entries you type or paste into a wheel are held in your browser and are not transmitted to us. There is no account, no upload step and no server-side copy. We cannot see your lists, retrieve them for you, or produce them if someone asks us to.
Three specific cases are worth spelling out.
Saved lists. Where a page offers to remember your list between visits, it stores it in your own browser using local storage. That data sits on your device, is readable only by this site in that browser, and is removed when you clear your browser data.
Shared wheels. When you share a wheel as a link, the list is encoded into the link itself rather than stored by us. Anyone holding that link can read the list, which is the point of sharing, and we still hold no copy. Treat a shared link as public, because a link can be forwarded.
Spin results. What a wheel lands on is calculated in your browser and is not reported to us. We do not know what you spun or what came up.
What we do collect
Three categories, and only the third involves anything you type.

Analytics

Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights over personal data we hold about you. These include the right to ask what we hold, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to certain processing. Residents of the EU and UK have these rights under GDPR, and residents of several US states have comparable rights under their own laws.
In practice we hold very little about any individual. Analytics data is not tied to a name, and wheel lists are not held at all. The main thing we could hold about you is a contact message you sent us.
